The game of chess is one of the favorite indoor games that are enjoyed by people worldwide. A board game, played by two players at a time, chess requires lot of patience and intelligence. There are eight rows and eight columns in a chess board and there are sixty four squares, white and black alternately.

There are total 32 pieces, 16 white pieces and 16 black pieces with which the game starts. Each side consists of one Queen, one King, two Knights, two Rooks, two Bishops and eight Pawns.
