A Movie for the Whole Family

Sep 30, 2009 Author: admin | Filed under: Movies & Television

The wait is over; the funniest movie of the summer is now on DVD and Blu-ray. Monsters vs. Aliens is the movie version of the popular comic book of the same name. It is a DreamWorks picture, the same people who made the hugely successful Shrek movies and is actually directed by the director of Shrek 2, Jason Buchanan.

This movie starts off with an invasion of Earth by some very unfriendly aliens that do not like humans at all. They are here to take over the planet and nothing will stand in their way, including the world’s military. It is up to a rag-tag group of monsters to stop the ruthless alien invasion. The world is now in the hands of a few, not so ordinary heroes including a gelatinous blue blob named Bob, voiced by Seth Rogen, a giant 50 ft tall girl, voiced by Reese Witherspoon and Dr. Cockroach who is voiced by the multitalented Hugh Laurie and Will Arnett as the Missing Link. Each character is special in its own way, and they are all funny in this animated movie.

This is a movie that you can take the whole family to and everyone will love it. The directors did such a great job making sure that it was something that both parents and their kids can see together and enjoy. The DVD and blu-ray are coming out very soon and there is also an extra disc on there that has an adventure with Bob and the gang to enjoy.

The best way to do this is to look for first edition books, which provide you with the most value with the words you collect.

The first step to take in finding first edition books are linked to understanding the basic components that make up a valuable book. Typically, first editions are rated higher then other prints of books. Often times, they become collector items because of the value they have. Because the books are no longer printed with this edition, it provides extra substance with the print. Others also have extra information that is taken out of later versions because of publisher requests.
